The Dante Festival Orchestra of young musicians will again be supporting the Dante String Quartet at the opening Concert of their summer festival.

Students from Callington Community College and from other schools will be joining the Orchestra following a series of rehearsals.

The orchestra rehearses and performs in St Mary's Church, Callington.  Last year the musicians played Vaughan Williams' Concerto Grosso and Purcell's Chacony.  This year's work for the Festival Orchestra has been commissioned from Devon composer, Andrew M. Wilson.
