Saturday Music School: Wind and Brass

Our Saturday Music School at Callington C.C. aims to give young musicians the opportunity to come together in an informal and friendly, yet structured setting to develop their music skills across a range of genres of music. The next five week programme will bring together a new orchestra of young Wind and Brass musicians.....with a bit of a twist! We will be developing vocal skills and doing some very practical, fun, music theory learning as well.

Start Date: 30th April 2011 - End Date: 28th May 2011

 

Sessions will take place on

Saturday 30^th April              9.30am - 12.00pm

Saturday 7^th May                 9.30am - 12.00pm

Saturday 14^th May               9.30am - 12.00pm

Saturday 21^st May               9.30am - 12.00pm

Saturday 28^th May               9.30am - 12.00pm

 

Cost: £35 for the 5 week programm

Place: Callington Community College Music Department.

Who can participate?  Young Musicians from the Callington Cluster Schools, and beyond, in Years 5, 6, 7 and 8 (as from September 2010)

 

Course directors Peter Stedman, Steph Tambling and Music leaders.

If you have an ‘Activity Pass card' - you can redeem this against the full cost of the programme, if you have sufficient credit available.

If you are interested in joining this programme, please complete your details on the application form below and return it to The Music Development Officer at Callington Community College by April 8th.  We'll contact you prior to the programme beginning to complete full consent forms and finalise payment details.

 

After half term - Saturday Morning ROCK Music School with LIVEWIRE will be for guitarists, pop/rock singers, drummers and keyboard players - starts Sat 11^th June for 5 weeks.
