The Tenth Callington Youth Music Festival

The Callington Youth Music Festival is regarded by the Music Department at the College as one of our most important musical events of the year.

The Callington Youth Music Festival is completely non-competitive in nature but gives a valuable opportunity for young musicians to play informally in public and to receive encouraging and helpful expert comments from the adjudicators, Ms Fiona McLean, Director of the South West Camerata, and Mr Peter Stedman, Director of Music at Callington Community College. Our aim is to be welcoming and very supportive of the musicians growing up in our community.

The Festival is held in the Main Hall at the College. It is great fun and we very much hope that parents and friends in our community will drop in to listen to our young musicians and singers.
