Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra visits College

On May 11th, a mini strings group spent the day with students in the Music College

In the morning, they performed and gave presentations to Key Stage 3 students, and visited Callington Primary School where they performed to a packed hall of enthusiastic pupils.

In the afternoon, there were workshops for Callington Community College strings players.  They worked on music that the Callington string group had been rehearsing, including Mozart's Church Sonata No. 9 and an arrangement of "Schindler's List" .  The students and the mini strings group enjoyed the experience, and the students developed their technique and understanding of the two pieces.
